Tall and proud, he stands, clad in Amber's own colors of green and gold. They suit him as they ought one born to them: echoes of his own blond hair, clear and steady eyes. The sword at his side is far from ostentatious. Undecorated, but worn, its hilt, and ready even in the image to be drawn again.

Osric was the oldest son of the annulled marriage between Oberon and Cymnea. Little is known about him by the living; Benedict, the only one old enough to remember him, has tended to discourage questions. The official story is that he died, presumably in battle, for the good of Amber. Less charitable whispers have it that he did more than wishful thinking about the throne...

In the mythology surrounding the royals' Trumps and the Tarot in Amber, Osric is frequently depicted as Justice.
