Thin and gaunt, almost skeletal. Hazel eyes lie in hollows in a pallid face, lank brown hair falls to his collar, and from the lines carved in his face he has no expression but a pinched frown. From one pocket of his gray jumpsuit peeks a slide rule. Altogether incongruous, against the stone castle corridor behind him.

Oberon and Cymnea's second son. Little is known about him by the living; Benedict, the only one old enough to remember him, has tended to discourage questions. The official story is that he died, presumably in battle, for the good of Amber. Whispers have it that he and his older brother did more than wishful thinking about the throne...

In the mythology surrounding the royals' Trumps and the Tarot in Amber, Finndo is frequently depicted robed in black with trim in his colors of gray and scarlet. The name of his card is Death.
