Daughter of Oberon and Paulette

No Trumps of Mirelle are known to exist. No paintings. No portraits.

Mirelle was the last-born of Oberon's children. She was, some say, stillborn, and Queen Paulette killed herself out of grief for her daughter. Others murmur that the Queen was of stronger mind than that - but whatever the argument, the infant's body was buried within a day after the Queen's labor, and there are witnesses to Paulette's suicide before the tiny casket was in the ground.

In the mythology surrounding the royals' Trumps and the Tarot in Amber, Mirelle is frequently associated with the Star, the card of hope. No image of her is given, no human figure or name is placed upon the card. It is bad luck to attempt anything else.
