Lords of Earth and Lords of Fire

The Princes of Amber

Delwin

Son of Oberon and Harla

Deceased

His shirt was black and opened at the neck. He wore a brown leather vest, his hair dark blond, eyes perhaps green.

Delwin was the younger of the two children produced by the alliance-marriage between Oberon and Harla. No pictures of Delwin hang in the palace, nor is he frequently mentioned. Following their mother's death, the story goes, Delwin and his sister Sand grew unhappy with Oberon's policies toward their mother's homeland, and eventually departed on a permanent basis. Some forty years or so thereafter, Delwin fell entirely out of contact, and the consensus among the family seems to be that by now he is dead.

Interestingly enough, the actual name of Harla's homeland seems to have been lost.

In the mythology surrounding the royals' Trumps and the Tarot in Amber, Delwin is frequently depicted as the Hermit: standing alone in the dark with which his clothing blends so well, his right hand lifted and a ring upon it glowing bright as a star.
